Yesterday, December 26, marked the seventh anniversary of the late Dr. Milina Sumathipala, the esteemed mother of Mr. Jagath Sumathipala, Chairman of the Bauddhaloka Foundation. To commemorate this occasion, a ceremony was held at the premises, where sil redi was distributed to the upasaka and upasika who performed the austerities of the All Ceylon Buddhist Congress. The event was attended a large number of family members, close friends, and others, coming together to honor Dr. Sumathipala’s memory and legacy.
