A collection of 196 ancient palm-leaf manuscripts held at the Galle Paramavichithrananda Maha Vihara was successfully conserved and returned to the temple, following a project conducted with the full financial support of the Bauddhaloka Foundation and technical assistance from the National Library and Documentation Services Board.

 The handover ceremony took place on August 8, 2025, at the temple, under the leadership of the Viharadhipathi, Venerable Walatara Sobitha Anunayaka Thera. The event was attended several distinguished guests, including Mr. W. Sunil, Director-General of the National Library and Documentation Services Board, Deputy Director Dr. Udaya Cabraal, Honorable Chairman of the Bauddhaloka Foundation Mr. Jagath Sumathipala, Ms. Samantha Sumathipala, and Secretary Mr. Panini Wewala.
